Welded type kingpin

As the name indicates, it is welded to the skid plate of the trailer. It is not replaceable. It is difficult to maintain and can suffer from damage due to wear and tear.

It is also available in two sizes 2 inches and 3.5 inches. The raw material used in it is Cr, Ti, or Mn.

The skid plate thickness is also 12mm, 14mm, and 16mm. It also undergoes carburizing and quenching treatment to increase wear resistance.

How to maintain kingpins in a semi-truck?
