Detach the air intake tube by removing the nuts from the electrical connectors and hoses using an appropriate wrench.

The air intake tube allows fresh air to enter the engine compartment, and it is fixed on the inlet manifold in front of the throttle body. 

You will see a water pump pulley having three or four bolts on it; you need to lose all these bolts to remove the belt.

The belt will keep the pulley at its place and will not allow it to move from its position, now use a particular socket with a ratchet to take the belt out.

If you want to replace the thermostat, remove the bolts from it and remove them from both the lower and upper hose.

Now place the new thermostat in its position and fix it using the same old bolts, and you do not need to use new bolts for this purpose.

You can now easily remove the old one from its position and then take your new pump and fix it at the right place.

Tight the bolts carefully, double-check each bolt before moving on to the next one, and install the heater outlet tube again.

Install the pulley and the new belt again, and then connect the inlet valve with its connectors and hoses as it was previously connected.

Connect both the terminals of the battery, for example, positive wire with the positive terminal while negative one with the negative terminal.

Start the engine and check for any symptoms; if there are no signs of a bad pump, the problem is fixed.
